With 1.15 million followers, WAYF BOYS drop teaser for debut single “WAYF BOYS DO”
WAYF BOYS dropped a roughly 20-second teaser for their debut single “WAYF BOYS DO,” which will be released on August 7 at 1 PM KST. The rookie group has already amassed 1.15 million followers on social media ahead of the debut.
The teaser opens with a car engine layered over a deep beat. Members Anderson, Andrew, Ryan, Junmyung, and Samuel move through several settings — speeding across a meadow, weaving through city streets — and the clip ends with a shout of the song title.
WAYF BOYS skipped a traditional showcase and instead performed first at the summer festival Waterbomb Seoul 2026 on July 26 at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. There, they revealed their debut track alongside an unreleased song, showing off vocal, rap, and dance skills.
Their agency, WAYF, said the members wanted to meet the growing expectations of fans through both their music and live performances, and that their energy comes across even more strongly in person.
During preparation and the performance, the members wore Meta smart glasses to capture the experience from their own point of view, letting fans see the stage through a first-person perspective.
With an unconventional debut path and a strong online following, WAYF BOYS describe themselves as pioneers of a “Nu-Kpop 1st generation.” Their debut single “WAYF BOYS DO” arrives on August 7.
