Son Na Eun says filming “Agent Kim Reactivated” kept her from Apink Bomi’s wedding
Son Na Eun said she missed Apink member Yoon Bomi’s wedding because she was filming the SBS drama Agent Kim Reactivated and had overlapping schedules.
The comment came during an interview on July 29 after the conclusion of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Agent Kim Reactivated, when Son Na Eun was asked about her absence from Bomi’s wedding.
Son Na Eun explained:
“We were in the final stages of filming the drama, and I also had overlapping schedules, so I couldn’t attend the wedding.”
“Apink is a precious team with whom I spent my teens and twenties. Whenever something good happens to the members, I sincerely want to congratulate them, and my support for them as a fan has never changed.”
“Being a former idol is a valuable part of my journey that made me who I am today, and I’m grateful for it. At the same time, I believe it’s my responsibility to continue working hard and show an even better side of myself as an actress.”
In May, Yoon Bomi married composer Rado in a private ceremony at the Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan, Seoul. Apink members Chorong, Eunji, Namjoo, and Hayoung attended, along with former member Hong Yoo Kyung, who left the group in 2013. Son Na Eun did not attend, which prompted fan speculation.
Son Na Eun has faced similar questions before. In 2022, when she could not take part in Apink’s 10th debut anniversary promotions, she addressed the situation directly. Son Na Eun said in 2022:
“I’m disappointed that I couldn’t participate in the 10th anniversary album promotions, but I hope you’ll continue to give the group lots of love and support the members.”
Her absence from a birthday gathering for Hayoung last year also drew attention. This latest interview attributes her absence from Bomi’s wedding to scheduling conflicts while finishing the drama.
