RESCENE members reveal CEO promised they would be next BLACKPINK, TWICE, and BTS
RESCENE revealed their agency CEO told them before debut that he would make them the next BLACKPINK, TWICE, and BTS.
RESCENE debuted in March 2024 under The Muze Entertainment with their first single album Re:Scene.
The five-member group — Woni, Minami, Zena, May, and Liv — drew attention for a concept inspired by scent and memories.
They didn’t blow up right away. Recently, though, RESCENE has seen a major rise and even reached #1 on Melon.
Members Minami and Woni appeared on TEO’s variety show Salon Drip and discussed how their CEO personally recruited them.
Host Jang Do Yeon asked about the CEO recruiting them. Minami confirmed it was true and explained what convinced her to join.
Jang Do Yeon: “What made you trust him enough to join?”
Minami: “I got tricked by what our CEO said. He told me, ‘I’ll make you the next BLACKPINK. I’ll make you the next TWICE. I’ll make you the next BTS.‘”
Woni: “It’s true.”
The clip quickly drew attention from fans, who found the CEO’s confidence and the members’ sincere reactions memorable. While becoming the next BTS, BLACKPINK, or TWICE is a huge goal, many fans were touched by how much faith their CEO appeared to have in RESCENE from the beginning.
