Nicole Jung, a member of the iconic K-Pop group KARA, had an impressive academic background before her debut. Born in California, she attended Keppel Elementary School and Toll Middle School in Glendale, where she excelled in various extracurricular activities.

On KAIST, Nicole shared, “I ranked first” in her middle school. This highlights her achievements beyond music and dancing.

Despite her strong academic performance, Nicole pursued her passion for music. She auditioned for DSP Media by submitting a video of herself singing songs from popular K-Pop artists like Ivy. After passing the audition, she moved to South Korea with her mother, overcoming the challenges of adapting to a new culture.

Nicole debuted as the youngest member of KARA in 2007 and continued with the group until 2014, when she left DSP Media. She also branched out into acting, featuring in dramas like Secret Love and Here He Comes. Nicole is well-known for her appearances on variety shows such as King Of Masked Singer, Video Star, and Immortal Songs.

In 2022, fifteen years after their debut, KARA reunited for a special anniversary album titled Move Again. Nicole has since appeared alongside her group members on shows like I Can See Your Voice and It’s Just Me, KARA. The group has made several appearances at festivals and concerts, including the 60th anniversary concert of Korea-Japan relations.
