NCT WISH’s YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL tops Oricon Daily Singles Chart
NCT WISH‘s Japanese single ‘YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL’ has topped the Oricon Daily Singles Chart.
The single debuted on June 15 and reached number one on the June 17 Oricon Daily Singles Ranking.
NCT WISH performed on June 18 on TBS’s music program ‘Ongaku no Hi 2026.’ They performed the double title track ‘BOY MEETS GIRL’ alongside TRF, the Japanese group who originally released the hit song.
‘BOY MEETS GIRL’ is a reinterpretation of TRF‘s 1994 hit. The track blends driving synth bass, energetic house drums, and piano melodies, and includes new rap verses by NCT WISH members.
Member Riku also took part in the ‘DREAM Dance Project’ stage organized by local dance group s**t kingz. He joined other Japanese artists and performed choreography to ‘slow burn’ and ‘Ikenai Taiyo.’
NCT WISH is holding outdoor promotions in Shibuya, Japan, through June 28.
