My Idol, My Debut, MBC Plus’s series, has closed its run with a warm happy ending, while Minari Entertainment shared the finale results and closing thoughts from the six lead actors.

The drama followed devoted fan Choi Aeni, played by Hwang Jia, as she traveled to the past to stop a tragedy set in 2026. At the center of that rescue story stood Han Jaeha, played by Ji Changmin, the leader of the group Boy To The Moon.

The final episode added a striking twist by revealing that Jaeha had also returned to the past to protect Aeni. The two healed from the wounds of an attack incident through music and shared an emotional first kiss, giving their tense time-slip story a tender finish.

The series also blurred the line between drama and the real music scene through the girl group Irion. The fictional group released the newtro metal debut track “MEMORIA”, held a surprise promotion at COEX Megastage, and appeared on MBC M‘s ‘Show! Champion’. Their storyline of climbing back through short-form meme buzz also connected with real interest, as the project reached No. 1 in the Korean Wave and Asia category on Japan’s Lemino.

The six leads looked back on the project with gratitude. Ji Changmin said it felt meaningful to understand the sincerity beneath Jaeha‘s perfectionism, while Hwang Jia thanked viewers for watching Aeni‘s bold growth. Lee Jinhyuk, Nana, Kaede, and Aisa also expressed appreciation for their characters and the support shown to Irion and “MEMORIA”.

‘My Idol, My Debut’ continues through full VOD service on Wavve, TVING, WATCHA, and Japan’s Lemino, extending the project beyond its broadcast finale.
