Min Hee Jin reveals she was invited to join dating show at SM Entertainment

Min Hee Jin, CEO of OOAK, revealed she was once invited to appear on a blind date reality show while working at SM Entertainment.
On July 25, a pre-release interview clip titled ‘Min Hee Jin Interview Part 1‘ was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘A Quiet Life.’ In the clip, Min Hee Jin reflected on her past career choices by stating that even during her time at SM Entertainment, she was a producer who preferred to stay out of the spotlight despite receiving significant public attention and numerous cast requests.
Surprising everyone on set, she revealed that she was actually offered a spot as a participant on a dating show while working at SM, prompting interviewer and journalist Kim Hye-ri to double-check in disbelief, to which Min Hee Jin confirmed with a smile:
Min Hee Jin: “Yes, as ridiculous as it sounds.“
She added that ever since her mid-30s, she constantly received diverse offers ranging from commercials to reality television shows, but turned every single one of them down without exception.
Opening up about her decision to reject those opportunities, Min Hee Jin explained that her natural personality played a role and that she felt burdened by such public attention at the time, reaffirming her steadfast commitment to focusing entirely on her primary role as a creative director.
Meanwhile, former ADOR CEO Min, who is now the head of OOAK Records, recently held a press conference at the Seoul Foreign Correspondent’s Club.
