LE SSERAFIM member Sakura nearly trips after photographer rushes past bodyguard at Incheon Airport
Sakura narrowly avoided a fall after a photographer brushed against her while rushing past her personal bodyguard at Incheon International Airport.
The incident took place on Friday morning at Incheon International Airport’s Terminal 2 as LE SSERAFIM—Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae—departed for Japan for the group’s 2026 ‘PUREFLOW’ world tour.
A video circulating online shows a fansite photographer quickly moving past Sakura’s personal bodyguard in an attempt to get closer to the members. During the process, the photographer appeared to make contact with Sakura’s foot, causing her to stumble before quickly regaining her balance.
The clip quickly spread across social media, with many fans criticizing the breach of the artist’s personal security space. They argued that the photographer should not have been able to get so close to the members, once again raising concerns about idol safety during crowded airport departures.
Others, however, suggested the incident appeared to be an unfortunate accident rather than an intentional act, noting that the photographer also seemed to lose balance amid the chaotic crowd.
The incident has once again sparked discussion about strengthening safety measures at airports, where aggressive photography and large crowds continue to pose risks for K-pop artists.
