KISS OF LIFE release third single “Sweat” with vibrant summer energy
KISS OF LIFE returned on August 4 with their third single, “Sweat.”
The group met the press at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, to mark the release. This comeback arrives four months after their previous single, “Who is She.”
Members said their tight bond and constant communication keep ideas flowing as they move quickly from one project to the next.
After their 2024 summer hit “Sticky,” which led to the nickname “summer queens,” the group embraced a different summer sound for this release. Belle explained the record carries a message about the unseen effort behind a polished image and aims to boost fans’ confidence.
The title track fuses electronic pop and Latin rhythms on an Afro-house foundation. Haneul described the song’s vibe as dancing in a desert at sunset, contrasting with the bright, beach-party energy of “Sticky.”
None of the members wrote or composed “Sweat.” Belle participated in choosing the song, consulting with producers to find a track that fit the group’s current image. She said the toughest parts came during heavy practice because the choreography requires strong endurance.
The members also responded to earlier feedback on their performance style, saying they consider all reactions while maintaining confidence in their fun and empowered image.
With “Sweat,” KISS OF LIFE continue their summer run while sending a message about perseverance and self-belief.
