Kim Myung Soo, Kang Min Ah share Singles pictorial for Love in Sync

Kim Myung Soo and actress Kang Min Ah posed for a couple pictorial in Singles magazine, officially unveiled on July 20, 2026. The shoot appears in the magazine’s August issue and acts as a prelude to their upcoming romantic comedy drama, Love in Sync, which centers on the concept of “emotional transference” where characters experience each other’s feelings.
This marks Kim Myung Soo‘s first venture into romantic comedy. He spoke about taking on the new genre and enjoying the process.
Kim Myung Soo: “This is my first romantic comedy. When the offer came in, I thought, ‘Finally, I get to do a classic rom-com.’ Haha. I had so much fun filming because I could freely show a cool side of myself, which was incredibly enjoyable throughout the entire process.”
Kim Myung Soo also contributed his voice to the drama’s original soundtrack and explained his connection to the role.
Kim Myung Soo: “I felt I could immerse myself even more because I believed I was the one who best understood the emotions of Cha Eun Hwan,”
Kang Min Ah said she took the role because of personal similarities with her character, Yoo Jian, including a background as a child actor and a past idol career.
Kang Min Ah: “The reason I really wanted to do this project was because there were many similarities with me.”
Kang Min Ah: “I always had a desire to play a character who is an ‘actress.’ The fact that she started as a child actor is also a significant similarity that connected with me.”
She highlighted Yoo Jian‘s varied acting projects within the drama and urged viewers to pay attention while watching on OTT platforms like Disney+.
Kang Min Ah: “As the story progresses, the projects Yoo Jian appears in also unfold alongside it, creating a layered viewing experience. The genres are remarkably varied. Some days you’ll encounter Yoo Jian diligently filming a compelling mini-series, and on other days, she’ll be immersed in shooting a compelling feature film.”
The two also commented on their on-set chemistry and mutual support.
Kang Min Ah: “Kim Myung Soo oppa held the center well on set, which allowed me to act even more stably and freely.”
Kim Myung Soo: “I tried to match Kang Min Ah so she could act freely and without inhibition.”
The pair said Love in Sync aims to be an accessible and enjoyable rom-com, without frustrating or drawn-out “sweet potato” moments.
