Kang Mina explains I.O.I 10th reunion absence, cites acting commitments
Kang Mina said she missed I.O.I’s 10th anniversary reunion because the schedule conflicted with her acting work and promotional commitments.
The comments came in an interview after the finale of tvN’s See You at Work Tomorrow! on July 28.
In the show, Kang Mina portrayed Yoon Noah, described as a fifth-year office worker on a product planning team.
She compared her character’s approach to romance with her own, explaining her feelings about love.
Kang Mina said:
“I tend to give everything to the person I love.”
“I felt keeping the promises I had already made was the right thing to do, and I conveyed that to the members.”
She added that the reunion conflicted with filming, promotions, and preparation for her next project, and that she stays close with the members and continues to support them.
Kang Mina originally debuted through I.O.I in 2016 and has been focusing more on acting, with recent credits including the Netflix drama Girigo.
