Jennie releases audio preview for solo single Less Than a Lover
Jennie of BLACKPINK released the audio preview for her upcoming solo project, ‘Less Than a Lover,’ on July 23 at midnight KST.
The singer released the audio preview of the new summer track, raising anticipation for her solo comeback.
Jennie participated extensively in the production of the new single, contributing to both the songwriting and the music video’s creative direction.
Ahead of its official release, she debuted the song at the Governors Ball Music Festival 2026 in the United States and Mad Cool Festival in Spain, where it received an enthusiastic response from global fans.
She is also set to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago in the U.S. and Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan next month.
Previously, Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment, sparked curiosity by posting a photo on social media showing Jennie seated next to a man whose face was obscured. The mystery man was later confirmed to be Kai, a Taiwan-born model currently active in South Korea.
Meanwhile, Jennie’s new solo single ‘Less Than a Lover’ will be out on July 25 at 1 PM KST.
