Jennie becomes first K-pop solo artist to headline Lollapalooza Chicago

Jennie, a BLACKPINK member, became the first K-pop solo artist to headline Lollapalooza Chicago.
She is set to perform on the Bud Light Stage at 8:55 PM CDT on August 1. Her set appears on the same headliner bill as Charli XCX, Lorde, and Tate McRae.
Members of i-dle showed their excitement before the show. YUQI and SHUHUA publicly offered support, with YUQI saying:
“JENNIE! I love her, I love her so much,”
Fans around the world have been preparing watch parties and using the hashtag #JENNIEownsLollapalooza across social media to mark the moment.
Viewers who cannot attend in person will be able to watch Jennie’s headline performance live on Disney+ and Hulu for subscribers in select regions.
