HyoLyn returns with fourth mini album OriginaLyn featuring title track ChecK
HyoLyn is making her highly anticipated return today with her fourth mini album ‘OriginaLyn,’ her first mini album release in approximately three years.
The album is set to drop on July 22 at 6 PM KST through major music platforms. ‘OriginaLyn’ combines ‘Original’ and HyoLyn’s name ‘Lyn’ to represent her irreplaceable musical identity. ‘OriginaLyn’ marks her first mini album since ‘iCE’ in July 2022 and follows her digital single ‘Standing On The Edge’ released in December last year.
The seven-track album includes the title track ‘ChecK,’ along with ‘OFFLINE,’ ‘SHOTTY,’ ‘Enjoy Your Meal’, ‘What U Like,’ ‘YOU AND I,’ and ‘Standing On The Edge.’ HyoLyn participated in the production of all tracks on the album, showcasing her artistic vision across a range of genres from powerful beats to groovy R&B and emotional ballads.
‘ChecK’ expresses confidence and attitude through trendy beats, an addictive hook, and HyoLyn’s signature powerful yet effortless vocals. Ahead of the release, ReH Entertainment unveiled the music video teaser on July 20, featuring bold choreography set against exotic street backdrops.
HyoLyn will kick off her comeback promotions on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on July 23, followed by appearances on various music shows.
