Huh JiWon released her first solo album, The Calling, on August 5, 2026, through Be Able Company.

A former member of the now-disbanded girl group Cherry Bullet, where she served as the visual center, Huh JiWon positions The Calling around questions of identity and self-discovery.

The album draws creative influence from Alice in Wonderland, which shapes both the music and the visual storytelling.

The title track, “Call me up,” has a music video made with AI animation. The video depicts Huh JiWon’s daily life as a “queen bee,” mixing digital techniques and artistic elements to tell the album’s story of personal growth and self-realization. Be Able Company said they used AI animation to convey that narrative and that the approach reflects their broader management philosophy of expanding an artist’s story and character into diverse content worlds.

Performance plans include a “Call me up” performance video and appearances on music shows to showcase her onstage skills. The choreography and direction for the performance video were handled by the dance crew DEEP N DAP.

Be Able Company confirmed Huh JiWon’s promotions will continue with live performances on domestic music programs and at global events, including fan meetings and concerts in Japan, China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and North America.

With the release of The Calling, Huh JiWon begins her solo career, combining AI-driven visuals with live promotions aimed at fans worldwide.
