Hearts2Hearts’ Carmen Praises NewJeans During Fan Call, Goes Viral
Carmen of Hearts2Hearts has gone viral after openly showing her love for NewJeans during a recent fan call.
The Indonesian idol has been promoting Hearts2Hearts’ second mini album, Lemon Tang, which was released last month. During one of the group’s recent fan calls, a fan asked Carmen about NewJeans.
Without hesitation, Carmen sang a short part of NewJeans’ hit song “OMG” before smiling and saying:
Carmen: “I love them so much!”
The moment quickly spread across social media, with many fans surprised that she mentioned the group so openly.

The reactions come as NewJeans remain on hiatus amid their long-running legal dispute with ADOR. The conflict began after the members attempted to terminate their exclusive contracts following the fallout between HYBE and former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin. Since then, the case has led to multiple court battles, with several related lawsuits still ongoing, while the group’s future activities remain uncertain.
Many international K-Pop fans said they were surprised by Carmen’s comments, while others pointed out that SM Entertainment doesn’t seem to stop their idols from talking about their young girl group, unlike HYBE with their roster.
