EXO’s Sehun releases surprise Chinese single ‘Fade’ for Warner Music China
Sehun released a surprise Chinese single, “Fade,” through a project led by Warner Music China on July 29 at 12 PM KST.
“Fade” was released across major music platforms, including Melon, FLO, Genie, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, QQ Music, Kugou Music, and Kuwo Music.
The track is described as an emotional R&B pop song that tells the story of a world that has lost its gravity. The single highlights Sehun’s captivating vocals and signature singing rap. NCT WISH member Sion is featured, contributing “sweet and delicate vocals.” The source says the collaboration shows a unique chemistry between two SM Entertainment artists from different generations.
The release was part of a Warner Music China project that works with various artists to present music-related content. The project specifically reached out to Sehun, citing his strong popularity and influence among local fans in China.
Meanwhile, EXO recently wrapped up its sixth solo concert tour, “EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon.” The tour concluded after selling out all 27 shows across 14 regions worldwide.
