BUMKEY releases pre-release single SPEEED featuring JUSTHIS and Justin Park
BUMKEY has released the pre-release single “SPEEED (feat. JUSTHIS, Justin Park).”
The song arrives ahead of his second full-length album, ‘On My Way,’ which is due out this August. It is his first new music in about nine months since the digital single “I’m Missing You.”
The track leans on groovy guitar riffs and a driving bassline. It aims to capture the relentless pace of modern city life while reflecting on the direction people choose as they race toward their goals.
The single brings in rapper JUSTHIS, who delivers a hard-hitting verse, and Korean American R&B singer Justin Park, who provides his signature vocals. Justin Park recently drew attention for a collaborative project with Quavo of Migos.
JUSTHIS also appears in the music video, joining BUMKEY on screen to match the song’s high-energy mood.
The mix was handled by three-time Grammy-winning Korean American engineer David Yungin Kim, whose credits include work with Kendrick Lamar and Nas.
