BTS‘s Jungkook has claimed No. 1 in the K-Brand Index K-pop individual category, the Asia Brand Research Institute announced for its June 2026 big data ranking.

The institute analyzed 423,183,352 pieces of online big data from June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026. The candidate pool covered the top 30 K-pop individuals by portal site search volume.

The top 10 ranked as follows: No. 1 Jungkook, No. 2 G-Dragon (Big Bang), No. 3 Karina (aespa), No. 4 Jennie (BLACKPINK), and No. 5 Woni (RESCENE).

No. 6 went to Jang Wonyoung (IVE). The list rounded out with Keonho (CORTIS), V (BTS), Wonhee (ILLIT), and Minami (RESCENE). RESCENE drew extra attention as Woni and Minami both entered the top 10.

Ryu Won Seon, head of the Asia Brand Research Institute research center, said the K-pop market has moved past a purely group-centered structure. He described artist value as a key force across music, performances, short-form content, social media, fandom activity, and digital platform consumption.

Ryu Won Seon linked Jungkook‘s No. 1 result to a stable global fandom and continued public interest. He also said G-Dragon‘s public-value moves, including the peace-themed ‘818 BLOOM’ project and his role as a UNESCO World Heritage Committee ambassador, reflected positively in the big data indicators.

The institute said this category used online index figures without offline data. Detailed index information and analysis materials can be checked through the official website and Instagram.
