BigBang unveil logo motion for 20th anniversary world tour ‘XX : COSMOS’

BigBang unveiled the logo motion for their 20th anniversary world tour, “BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS >,” when YG Entertainment posted the video on its official SNS on the 4th.
The clip mixes light trails cutting through pitch-black darkness with a weighty soundtrack. It presents an immersive sci-fi trailer vibe, with an infinity shape that looks like tangled threads meshing together to suggest the vastness and order of the universe.
The logo draws from the infinity symbol to combine two meanings: the ’20’ for the 20th debut anniversary and an endlessly expanding infinity. Adding “COSMOS,” which the company says stands for connection, relationship, and continuity, the motion aims to represent 20 years of bonds between BigBang and fans and the group’s new journey ahead.
BigBang’s past concert milestones are listed in the announcement. They include the most attended single tour by a K-pop artist with 1.5 million attendees, being the first overseas artist to hold a tour of Japan’s six major domes and five consecutive years of dome tours, the most attended and most cities performed in China with 250,000 across 13 cities, and the largest North American tour.
The announcement noted this world tour arrives about nine years after their last major tour and will mark the start of a new chapter as the group celebrates its 20th debut anniversary. The company said the tour will draw on musical capability and concert know-how built over 20 years to deliver a further evolved performance and a polished show.
BigBang will open “BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR < XX : COSMOS > IN GOYANG, presented by Coupang Play” over three days from the 21st to the 23rd at Goyang Sports Complex. The shows recorded a full house across all three days, including added seats.
The tour is scheduled to run across a total of 19 cities and 33 shows, with additional host regions to be revealed one after another.
