BIGBANG to celebrate 20th anniversary with free Han River event
BIGBANG will mark their 20th debut anniversary with a free fan event hosted by Coupang Play. The event, titled ‘Coupang Play X BIGBANG 20th Anniversary X Han River Collaboration,’ will take place on August 19 at 8 PM KST at the Yeouido Han River Park Water Light Stage in Seoul.
The evening will include a dynamic DJ performance reinterpreting their iconic hit songs and a history video chronicling their career. Attendees will also see a media art display highlighting the “BIGBANG universe” with grand orchestral sounds.
The night will finish with a large-scale drone show and fireworks over the Han River.
All seats for this special anniversary event are free. Reservations open on July 28 at 7 PM KST, exclusively through the Coupang Play mobile app. Only Coupang Wow members are eligible to reserve tickets, though a standard booking fee applies.
Coupang Play has also outlined strict anti-fraud measures, including ID verification for entry and a dedicated reporting channel for suspicious activity.
The Han River event serves as a pre-tour celebration ahead of ‘Coupang Play Presents BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR [ XX : COSMOS ] In Goyang’. The Goyang concerts, set for August 21 to 23, have already sold out rapidly. The initial general sale saw 210,000 concurrent waiting users.
