BABYMONSTER’s CHOOM debuts on US Mediabase Top 40 radio at No. 35

BABYMONSTER has entered the US mainstream radio chart for the first time, with their song “CHOOM” debuting on Mediabase’s ‘Top 40 Radio Chart’ at No. 35.
The chart placement comes from Mediabase’s latest report for the tracking period: July 19-25, 2026. “CHOOM” is the title track from BABYMONSTER’s third mini album, [CHOOM].
The entry into the Top 40 arrived without any separate local promotion, highlighting the group’s growing reach in North America. The single is currently in rotation at major stations including Los Angeles’ KIIS-FM, New York’s Z100 (WHTZ-FM), and Chicago’s WKSC-FM.

Mediabase’s ‘Top 40 Radio Chart’ compiles airplay data from prominent radio stations across the United States and Canada. That airplay data also feeds into the ‘Radio Songs’ chart, which is a component of Billboard’s main ‘HOT 100’ chart, and is watched as an indicator of a song’s mainstream appeal and reach in the North American pop market.
Last May BABYMONSTER released their third mini album, [CHOOM]. The record reached No. 1 on iTunes in 19 regions and topped the worldwide album chart. It sold more than 750,000 copies in about a week after release.
After finishing official promotions for the title track, the group continued to support the album by steadily releasing content for its B-sides. The Mediabase entry arrives 11 weeks after the album first dropped, marking a new milestone in the group’s international growth.
BABYMONSTER will carry that momentum into their second world tour, which begins with concerts in Seoul. The tour spans 29 shows across 18 cities on five continents, including Japan, Asia, North America, Europe, and South America. With their first US mainstream radio charting now confirmed, attention turns to their upcoming North American performances.
