Art director Park Si Young slams HYBE over treatment of NewJeans

Park Si Young slammed HYBE on social media on July 23, KST, accusing the company of mishandling its conflict with NewJeans members and calling the stakeholders “childish” and “embarrassing.”
Popular art director Park Si Young has stirred up heated sentiment once again with his social media post about NewJeans.

A few days ago, when ADOR released a teaser of NewJeans’ upcoming comeback, Park took to his social media and criticized its direction and aesthetic.
With his initial reaction becoming a heated topic among K-Pop fans, Park doubled down in a new Instagram story on July 23, KST, sharply attacking HYBE’s response to the situation.

Since we’re on the subject, I wonder if this will make the news too? Please let it get covered. I find it absolutely disgusting how HYBE, a major conglomerate in the K-Pop industry, conducts itself. If you’ve taken the formative years of these minors under the guise of ‘training’… seriously, is that how adults are supposed to act? Bunch of childish b*stards. If you’re going to make money off kids and build a business around them, the least you could do is act like responsible adults. I find them pathetic.

Park also criticized HYBE’s legal and financial approach, and said he had no interest in either Bang Si Hyuk or Min Hee Jin.
You’re going to “set an example” for the entertainment industry by crushing people with money and lawsuits? Give me a break. What a load of bullsh*t. I couldn’t care less about Min Hee Jin or Bang Si Hyuk. That’s none of my business. But targeting a young person and trying to destroy them—how is that justice? It’s unbelievably idiotic. There should be a limit. HYBE is seriously disgusting. I hope this gets reported widely! These morons don’t know how to act like adults.

Meanwhile, the music director who previously worked with NewJeans has also stirred up heat with their supposed reaction to NewJeans’ upcoming comeback.
