aespa tops Oricon Daily Album Chart with Japanese mini album KISS N TELL
aespa has topped a major Japanese music chart immediately following the release of its first Japanese mini album, ‘KISS N TELL’.
Released on July 24 KST, ‘KISS N TELL’ ranked No. 1 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart dated July 23, demonstrating the group’s strong popularity in Japan.
The six-track album is led by the title song “KISS N TELL” and also includes “Orbit Pop,” “Fangirl,” “Done with Rules,” “ATTITUDE,” the opening theme for the anime ‘Kill Blue’, and “In Halo,” an original soundtrack song for the drama ‘Love at First Bite’.
Ahead of the album’s release, aespa performed “KISS N TELL” for the first time during its second Japanese fan meeting, ‘MY CLASSMaeTE’, held at Keio Arena Tokyo from July 18 to 20. The group met local fans over three days while offering an early look at the new title track.
aespa will next embark on its new world tour, ‘SYNK : COMPLaeXITY’, beginning with concerts at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on August 7 and 8. The tour will then continue across North America, South America, and Europe.
