The coach, pro Im Jin Han, opened up on TV CHOSUN’s Heo Young Man’s Food Travel on the 19th. Im Jin Han revealed he first met Son Ye Jin when her agency asked him to teach her golf.
“She had been playing golf for three years but never managed to get the ball airborne on the course. Her agency’s representative asked me to coach her.” — Im Jin Han
He gave Son Ye Jin a quick lesson that lasted about an hour while she was in jeans and slippers between shoots. Soon after, she called with progress updates.
“Son Ye Jin came over wearing jeans and slippers between shoots. I gave her a quick lesson for about an hour. Later, she called and said half her shots were flying and the other half rolling. I told her she was doing great and should keep playing like that.” — Im Jin Han
Son Ye Jin then asked him to coach Hyun Bin too.
