Leading Actor and Idol Pair Reveal Separation

Kawaei Rina announces divorce from actor Hirose Tomoki.

The actress made the announcement on April 10 via her personal account. She and Hirose have decided to end their marriage and go separate ways.

“I’m sorry to share such personal news with everyone who supports me, but we have decided to end our relationship as a married couple and walk our own paths.”

Kawaei added she will keep working hard as an actress and mother and asked for warm support moving forward.

Hirose Tomoki also spoke out the same day. He thanked everyone for the time they shared building a family, saying his respect for Kawaei remains unchanged.

The two met while working together in 2018 and married in May 2019. They have two children, born in 2019 and 2023.

Kawaei Rina started her career with AKB48 in 2010 before shifting to acting. She recently appeared as Chihiro in the musical Spirited Away, connecting with Korean fans early this year.
