Yoon Doojoon to host Wavve’s global K-pop fandom survival show ‘Fandom Stage’

By ALLKPOP

Yoon Doojoon of Highlight will take the MC spot for Wavve’s new K-pop fandom survival variety show Fandom Stage, which puts fans, not artists, at the center of the competition.

Fandom Stage flips the familiar survival format by making fandom itself the main event. The show asks participants to prove their passion, knowledge, and fan skills through missions tied closely to K-pop culture.

The program describes itself as the world’s first K-pop fandom survival variety show, as well as Korea’s first K-pop fandom survival program. Instead of focusing on trainees or idols, it follows fans as they turn everyday dedication into on-screen competition.

Fandoms of god, MONSTA X, BIGBANG, SEVENTEEN, SHINee, EXO, TXT, and TWICE will take part. Their missions will draw from real fan activities such as ticketing, fan chants, and content creation.

Yoon Doojoon enters the show in his 18th debut year, bringing the experience of a longtime idol who understands the culture and energy behind fandom. His background across idol activities gives the program an MC who can read both the stage and the fans behind it.

He has also built a steady presence as a variety MC, while recent content connected to the North and Central America World Cup added another layer to his entertainer profile. His smooth hosting will guide viewers through the fandom missions as each team shows how deeply K-pop fan culture can run.

Fandom Stage will premiere on Wavve on the 29th, a Wednesday, with global K-pop fandoms facing off through missions built from the fan activities they know best.
