SM Entertainment announces Smtown Run Club 26 running event in Incheon
SM Entertainment is turning SHINee’s Minho’s running idea into a full-scale fan event with ‘SMTOWN RUN CLUB 26,’ set for October 3, 2026 at Incheon Wangsan Marina Port.
The new festival takes its spark from ‘SM London Run,’ when Minho ran through central London with senior and junior SM Entertainment artists during the SMTOWN London concert schedule in July 2025.
That casual city run has now grown into SM Entertainment’s first large offline running event built around artists and fans sharing the same activity.
‘SMTOWN RUN CLUB 26’ will begin at 10 AM at Wangsan Marina Port. Participants will run a 10 km route that starts from the marina, passes Wangsan Bridge, and returns to the starting point.
The event will keep the festival energy going after the race. Once participants cross the finish line, SM Entertainment artists will perform live on stage, adding a concert element to the offline sports gathering.
Minho has long drawn attention in K-pop for his athletic image. Reports noted that he has taken part in marathons and triathlons, making running a natural theme for an event that began with his idea.
Applications will open through KREAM from August 6 to August 13, 2026. More details will be shared through the official website and Instagram account for ‘SMTOWN RUN CLUB.’
