HYBE’s TUIDE to hold pre-debut stage Playground on August 1-2
TUIDE will hold a pre-debut stage event, ‘TUIDE EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW [PLAYGROUND]’, on August 1 and 2 at Layer Studio 11 in Mapo-gu, Seoul.
The seven-member girl group from ABD, a new label under HYBE Music Group, announced the two-day showcase ahead of their formal debut.
At the event, TUIDE will perform every song from their forthcoming debut album. The announcement is an unusual move in the K-pop industry.
With their official debut date, member visuals, and detailed profiles still largely undisclosed, the early public showcase aims to introduce the group to fans.
ABD said:
“will be a special occasion for fans to experience the excitement and joy of discovering a new artist like TUIDE before anyone else.”
The agency added:
“We ask for much anticipation and support for the first steps of these seven members who will create a new wave in the music industry.”
The group’s name, TUIDE, is inspired by the English phrase “Tune the tide,” reflecting their ambition to actively experience and shape various cultural trends globally.
Han Sung Soo, a Master Professional (MP) known for his work with SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS, will oversee TUIDE‘s overall production. His involvement signals a commitment to high-quality music and performance for the new group.
Interest in TUIDE rose after ABD‘s partial reveal of members in May, which generated considerable buzz. The video featured TWICE’s Jihyo’s younger sister, Seoyeon, born in 2008, drawing attention to both sisters’ entertainment activities.
As TUIDE prepares to unveil their music and concept, fans are eagerly awaiting more details about their official debut and the impact they will make in the K-pop scene.
