CORTIS’s ‘GREENGREEN’ reaches about 3.099 million cumulative sales on Circle Chart

CORTIS have crossed a huge new album milestone, with their second mini album ‘GREENGREEN’ surpassing 3.099 million cumulative copies sold.
BIGHIT MUSIC announced the update based on the latest weekly album chart from Circle Chart, the integrated music chart operated by the Korea Popular Music Industry Association. According to the chart, ‘GREENGREEN’ has reached about 3.099 million copies in cumulative sales.
Only two albums released in Korea have passed 3 million cumulative sales so far: BTS‘s fifth full-length album ‘ARIRANG’ and CORTIS‘s ‘GREENGREEN’.
‘GREENGREEN’ was released on May 4 and moved fast from the start. Based on Hanteo Chart figures, the album sold more than 1.2 million copies on its first day alone, then passed 2 million cumulative copies in just four days.
Its first-week sales reached 2,313,291 copies, more than five times the 436,367 first-week sales recorded by CORTIS‘s first mini album ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’. The jump shows how sharply the group expanded its album-buying base between releases.
The album also gave CORTIS their own best result on the Billboard 200, reaching No. 3 on the chart dated May 23. On Spotify, cumulative streams for ‘GREENGREEN’ have surpassed 300 million, while CORTIS continue schedules for their first tour, ‘PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN’.
