In a press release shared by the Nambeol production team, they shared how WOODZ will make his acting debut in Nambeol and join Lee Byung Hun, Go Youn Jung, and Nam Do Hyun in the movie.

Nambeol is a martial arts action film set in the early Joseon period and will follow the story of nine warriors who set sail for Tsushima Island to rescue captives taken by Japanese pirates.

WOODZ will play the role of Cheotnom, a skilled archer who joins the expedition to help provide for his family at home. He will bring his fresh energy as a rookie actor as he expands his entertainment activity spectrum.

Nambeol is also the first ever directorial project for Lee Mo Gae, who previously worked as the director of photography for famed films such as 12.12: The Day, Exhuma, Hunt, and Emergency Declaration. The movie is currently in pre-production and filming is expected to begin later this year.
