BLACKPINK Jisoo is facing backlash amid the ongoing abuse controversy involving her brother. A new video surfaced featuring the second wife of Jisoo’s brother, who directly mentioned the idol while discussing the situation.
Reports confirm that Jisoo and her family have cut ties with her brother since 2025.
On April 23, reporter Lee Jin Ho shared an exclusive interview with the brother’s second wife. She revealed the current status of her conflict with Jisoo’s brother, saying:
“I can’t really say it’s completely resolved. I haven’t been able to file a lawsuit yet. Because I couldn’t find a lawyer.”
She explained that although she planned to sue, the brother asked to meet and suggested handling things quietly due to the time and cost involved.
The second wife shared details about their marriage, which took place in July last year. Despite talks of divorce and her leaving the house, the “BJ incident” happened. She said:
“So, at first, my husband threatened me. Telling me to take it down. Saying ‘The kids are watching, what are you doing?’ Then later, he apologized to me. Saying he was sorry. And asking me to try living together again.”
She described their relationship as “awkward” and rushed, revealing:
“The very first time was in late April, and we started dating on June 9th. Yes. He kept pestering me. For a week, he begged me to go register the marriage. He begged so much. I wondered why he was so obsessed.”
Lee Jin Ho also shared what the second wife wanted from the situation, including an apology and compensation. Jisoo was mentioned directly when it was revealed that the second wife did not know her husband was related to the idol at first:
“Later I found out that thing broke in May. Until then, I didn’t know. I didn’t know he was Jisoo’s brother.”
This fueled rumors about whether Jisoo knew about her brother’s abusive actions toward his first wife. However, the second wife confirmed that Jisoo likely had no knowledge of the situation, adding:
“She didn’t know we were married. Because even though we registered it, we didn’t have a wedding ceremony.”
Lee Jin Ho emphasized that Jisoo appears to be unaware of her brother’s actions and the ongoing disputes.
