Leading Talent Manager Reveals Startling Industry Secrets

A top manager is exposing dark secrets of the entertainment industry.
The controversy began when the YouTube channel All About Jobs posted a video on April 22 titled “A Famous Celebrity Manager Exposes the Reality of the Industry.”
Manager A, who works with top actors, said managers often take the fall for the stars’ crimes.
“Drunk driving is the most typical example. For instance, if the news reports someone was caught drunk driving, the manager will confess before the article even comes out, and they may even arrange for proxy prescriptions. They get paid for this. But managers are paid very little.” — Manager A
Proxy prescriptions are a hot issue, and Manager A admitted to doing it personally. There’s proof via KakaoTalk messages.
“They removed the black box and inspected everything at the time. They found an old phone in the car. The recorder on the phone was on.” — Manager A on agency cover-ups
Managers also help with their celebrities’ personal lives.
“They ask me to buy contraceptives or reserve restaurants and private rooms on their behalf via phone.”
The so-called “entertainment industry’s tradition of hosting” is still alive.
“Sitting beside young women. Managers like me can’t enter those places. Directors or higher-ups go in for those conversations.”
This insider look raises questions about the unseen roles managers play behind the scenes.
