BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is facing backlash amid ongoing controversy surrounding her brother’s abuse allegations.

The controversy began when a man alleged to be Jisoo’s brother, Kim Jung Hun, was arrested earlier this month. A female streamer filed a report accusing him of sexual assault, blackmail, and other crimes. Additional accusations came from his alleged wife.

Soon after, Jisoo’s agency issued statements clarifying that Jisoo’s business has no ties to Kim Jung Hun and that she has essentially cut ties with him.

As the situation unfolded, Jisoo prepared for a schedule in Paris. Normally, media cover idols’ airport departures with livestreams and interviews. However, Dimaco, the fashion marketing company involved, announced the cancellation of Jisoo’s public appearance at the airport.
