“Moving 2” Recast Controversy Sparks Concern After New Actor Revealed

Lee Jung Ha is facing controversy after being replaced on Moving 2.

The production team of the Disney+ original drama cast Won Kyu Bin as Bong Seok, Lee’s character. Lee Jung Ha is currently serving in the military, so the role was recast.

The Moving 2 script reading took place recently at KINTEX in Ilsan with the new cast and production team. The original series launched on Disney+ in August 2023. It follows kids hiding superpowers and their parents’ painful secrets.

Lee Jung Ha played Bong Seok in Season 1, the son of Han Hyo Joo and Jo In Sung’s characters. Now Won Kyu Bin steps in to fill those shoes.

Fans are unhappy. Many think Lee Jung Ha is irreplaceable.

Some fans wish the character was written out until Lee’s return.

I wished they would have wrote him out for s2 and then have him come back for s3 since he would have been out of the military by then

Others say it’s unfair Lee was replaced just because of his military service.

I still can’t wrap my head around why they replaced him. He didn’t d!e , He isn’t sick , His only crime was going to serve his country.
