The button only switches on once two things are done: you have tapped a nominee card, and the quick security check in the popup has finished. Pick your nominee first, let the check complete, and the vote button becomes active.

The cooldown is also counted per network connection. On busy Wi-Fi or mobile networks many fans can share one connection, so someone else may have used that slot. Try this:

Some networks, regions, or company and school firewalls restrict the provider that powers the security check, so it cannot load there at all — it is not your device. Try a different connection: switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, join another network, or vote from a different location, then reopen the poll. If nothing works on that network, try again later from elsewhere.

Sharing the poll unlocks a one-time double-strength vote. Here is the flow:

2x boosts only your next eligible vote. After you have used it, you can share again in a later vote cycle if the poll still allows another vote.

Do not close the popup too early. Wait for the success state, the cooldown message, or the updated badge. For a 2x vote, make sure the unlocked "2x" state is showing before you press vote — voting before it unlocks counts as a normal vote.

After a successful vote you will see a confirmation state in the popup, usually followed by a cooldown message. Open the results screen to see the latest ranking and your nominee's updated total.

On large, fast-moving polls the numbers shift constantly. Refresh the results view after your vote is confirmed to load the newest totals and position changes.
