4th-Gen Boy Group Sparks Buzz With Brief Contract Renewal Meeting

TXT just crushed the 7-year curse with the fastest contract renewal ever.

BIGHIT MUSIC’s second boy group, TXT, stunned fans by renewing their exclusive contracts in record time. The announcement dropped during the opening night of their ACT: TOMORROW world tour in Seoul in 2025.

But what really caught attention was the behind-the-scenes story shared by the members on BIGBANG’s Daesung’s YouTube show, ZIP Daesung. The group revealed their contract renewal talks with BIGHIT MUSIC were shockingly quick and smooth.

During the episode, TXT gave Daesung a tour of the HYBE building and joked about their company grievances. When asked about the contract renewal process, member Taehyun explained that since all five members were united, the negotiations barely lasted fifteen minutes.

Daesung was amazed:

“That’s not easy to achieve. That’s great.”

When Daesung asked if Yeonjun or Soobin led the talks, Soobin said:

“Honestly, it wasn’t anyone’s role.”

He added that the members were immediately on the same page, making the meeting incredibly brief.

Daesung, still surprised, asked:

“Fifteen minutes?”

Taehyun replied:

“It was like, ‘We’re all in?’ ‘Duh, of course we are.’”
