BTS Seoul Concert Venue Hit by Massive Theft Incident

BTS is facing backlash after a major theft at their ARIRANG World Tour concert venue in Goyang City.
Police launched a manhunt on April 11, KST, following reports that a suspect stole around 500 wristbands from the ticket booth at the auxiliary stadium of Goyang Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu.
These wristbands are essential for concert entry, serving as mandatory authentication alongside ticket verification. The theft raised alarms about the wristbands being resold illegally or used for unauthorized access.
Authorities have a physical description of the suspect and are focusing their search on possible escape routes nearby.
Fans quickly reacted online, questioning the venue’s security and expressing worry about further risks.
