LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Benched for Comeback; Fans Criticize Source Music
Chaewon of LE SSERAFIM was advised to rest and will miss upcoming schedules after being treated for a neck injury, Source Music said.
Source Music said Chaewon went to the hospital for treatment of a neck injury. On May 19 (KST), the label said medical staff advised Chaewon to “rest for a certain period and monitor her recovery.”

Source Music said Chaewon will sit out LE SSERAFIM’s upcoming schedules, including “university festivals, Spotify PURE FLOWERS LIVE, and music shows.” The label added her future schedules will be adjusted flexibly to accommodate her recovery.
The notice did not state the cause of the neck pain. Fans immediately connected the injury to the choreography for “Celebration.” Chaewon had previously expressed that she was feeling pain in her neck when the group started performing the song live.
The announcement has sparked a major backlash against Source Music and HYBE from LE SSERAFIM fans worldwide, who feel the “Celebration” choreography was a major oversight and a sign of incompetent artist management.

it’s sad and heartbreaking that le sserafim members’ biggest wish every comeback or tour has always been “for all five of us to be together and healthy,” because there was almost always a member missing due to health issues.. all the company’s fault sigh
