Kim Sanghyuk from Click-B Reveals Business Earnings Surpass Celebrity Income
Kim Sanghyuk from Click-B has revealed that his business earnings surpass those of many major company employees, generating impressive monthly revenue.
On the July 16 episode of Channel A’s Groom Class Season 2, Kim Sanghyuk became the show’s first divorced cast member. The episode showcased him riding a scooter to his tailor shop, revealing his active role in clothing design. He even mentioned creating one of the suits that Rain wore in a music video.
The tailor shop is just one project in his growing portfolio. Kim Sanghyuk detailed his ventures into health patches and bags. Notably, singer Lee Seung Chul was surprised to learn that Kim designed the bags himself, noting that he had bought two without realizing their connection.
When asked about his business revenue, Kim Sanghyuk shared,
“It basically exceeds the annual salary of someone working at a major corporation.”

He explained that his motivation comes from anxiety over working in an unstable entertainment industry. After experiencing times without celebrity work, he prioritizes preparing for an uncertain future.
Kim Sanghyuk debuted as a member of Click-B in 1999. However, his career faced a significant setback following a 2005 drunk-driving and hit-and-run incident. He was accused of fleeing the scene and only reported it to the police about 11 hours later, leading to a suspended 10-month prison sentence and 120 hours of community service. His controversial comments during a press conference about drinking and driving became a subject of ridicule that followed him long past his hiatus from the entertainment world. More than two decades later, his recent television appearance has reignited attention on his successful business endeavors away from music.
