OURBIRTHDAY to debut August 19 under JYP with single “Our Birthday”
OURBIRTHDAY will debut on August 19 under JYP Entertainment with the single “Our Birthday.”
The seven members will reunite as a full group on that date after launching earlier as two separate units, Side A and Side B.
On August 4, the group released an introduction film called “[SYSTEM] CONNECTION ESTABLISHED” on their official social media channels. The video depicts the two units in distinct spaces who gradually notice each other and move toward unity.
This debut represents JYP Entertainment’s first new girl group in about four years, following NMIXX. OURBIRTHDAY joins the agency’s lineup that also includes Wonder Girls, miss A, TWICE, and ITZY.
Before the full-group launch, members promoted themselves through pre-debut activities as Side A and Side B, appearing on music shows and putting out content that emphasized both individual strengths and unit chemistry.
With the complete seven-member lineup set to perform together on August 19, focus is now on the sound and identity they will present at debut.
