aespa deliver 14-song set with Ty Dolla $ign at first Lollapalooza

aespa made their Lollapalooza debut on August 2 with a 14-song performance on the Allianz Stage at Chicago’s Grant Park.
The group performed with a live band for the full set. They kicked off with “Black Mamba” and “Next Level” before moving into songs including “Armageddon,” “Supernova,” and “Whiplash.”
The setlist also included selections from their second full-length album: “LEMONADE,” “WDA (Whole Different Animal),” and “Can’t Help Myself.”
American artist Ty Dolla $ign appeared as a surprise guest during “Switchblade,” a track he is featured on. He joined aespa onstage for the number and commented on aespa’s growth on the festival stage.
The music video for “Switchblade,” which features Ty Dolla $ign, is scheduled for release on August 4. After their Lollapalooza set, aespa expressed thanks to fans and said they would bring the festival’s energy into their world tour.
aespa debuted under SM Entertainment in November 2020 with “Black Mamba.” They will open the 2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : COMPLæXITY at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on August 7 and 8.
