ZEROBASEONE’s Kim Ji Woong to miss some group schedules due to acting projects

ZEROBASEONE‘s Kim Ji Woong will be absent from some group activities while he fulfills previously scheduled acting work.
On July 28, Nest Management issued an official notice outlining their plans to manage Kim Ji Woong’s dual commitments as an actor and an idol. The statement said that confirmed acting projects make it unavoidable for him to skip certain ZEROBASEONE schedules for the time being.
The agency asked fans to understand that Kim Ji Woong’s participation in group events may vary going forward and said they will keep supporting his work in both fields.
Kim Ji Woong began acting in 2021 with the web drama Sweet and Sour Guy. His credits also include Bite Me, Convenience Store Veteran, Bad Mom, and Waiting for Kyungdo.
He entered the music scene through Mnet’s audition show Boys Planet in 2023, finishing in 8th place and debuting in the nine-member group ZEROBASEONE. After the project’s initial phase ended, he remained with the reformed five-member lineup and has continued promoting with the group.
Nest Management reiterated its commitment to supporting Kim Ji Woong’s activities as both an actor and an idol as he balances the two careers.
