The Boyz members Younghoon and Q face court-approved property seizure by One Hundred Label

The Boyz’ Younghoon and Q have had their real estate assets frozen after a court-approved provisional seizure requested by their former agency, One Hundred Label.

According to legal sources on July 24, the Seoul Eastern District Court’s Civil Division 51 granted One Hundred Label‘s request on July 16 for a provisional seizure of property owned by The Boyz member Younghoon. The asset in question is an apartment in Seongdong District, Seoul, with the claim amounting to approximately 513.62 million KRW (about 350,000 USD).

On July 23, the court also approved a similar provisional seizure request targeting real estate owned by fellow member Q.

The provisional seizures were reportedly sought to preserve One Hundred’s monetary claims in connection with the settlement of the members’ exclusive contract advances. The agency argues that the advance payments were made under the assumption that the members would complete the full term of their contracts. Since the members allegedly did not fulfill the remaining contract period, the agency contends that the portion corresponding to the uncompleted term constitutes unjust enrichment and should be repaid.

Attorney Hyun Dong Yup of Hwagum Law Firm, who represents One Hundred Label and CEO Cha Ga Won, confirmed the development, stating:

“It is true that Younghoon’s and Q’s properties have been placed under provisional seizure,” adding, “We are also identifying real estate owned by the other members.”

The Boyz have responded with legal action. On July 13, the group’s legal representative, Yulchon LLC, filed an objection with the Seoul Eastern District Court challenging the provisional seizure order.

Previously, nine members of The Boyz (Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, Q, Sunwoo, and Eric) filed an injunction in February seeking to suspend the validity of their exclusive contracts, alleging that One Hundred Label had failed to fulfill its obligation to pay settlement earnings. On April 23, the court ruled in the members’ favor and granted the injunction.
